Suzanne Hitchman, LMSW

I am a white, queer, anti-racist, Licensed Master Social Worker, coach, trainer and facilitator. I studied Social Work at San Francisco State University where I was awarded the Community Mental Health Stipend. In San Francisco, I had the honor of being a Restorative Justice Coach for the San Francisco Unified School District after four years of implementing a Restorative Justice initiative and comprehensive mental health program at a 1,000 student urban middle school. Since I’ve been back in Brooklyn I had the pleasure of coaching schools, companies and non-profit organizations towards Restorative Justice, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Anti-Racism. Some of my clients and partnerships include The American Civil Liberties Union, Columbia University Teachers College, the Brooklyn Historical Society, The Sawtooth Group, San Francisco Unified School District, NYC Department of EducationMPG Consulting, Ramapo for Children, Brooklyn Community Foundation, Good Shepherd Services, NYC Administration for Children's Services, Teachers Unite! and more.  I am also a Co-founder, Principal and Lead Consultant at BCWT Consulting, LLC. In addition to my work, I love dogs, cycling, comedy and cooking up a storm!
